POCKET RPG
an idle RPG about climbing a 100-floor tower
--------------------------------------------------
Pocket RPG is an idle RPG about climbing a 100-floor tower — one boss at a time. Your hero walks, fights, mines and chops on his own in a corner of your screen; you make the choices that get him past the next wall: what to gather, what to forge, and when to challenge the boss.
⚔️ONE TOWER, ONE HUNDRED FLOORS
The demo covers Floor 1 — from your first copper pickaxe to The Guardian, the boss standing between you and Floor 2. Monsters get meaner with every stage, and pushing ahead of your gear is a quick way to get sent home.
⛏️GATHER, FORGE, GET STRONGER
Combat alone won't carry you. Buy tools, work ore veins and timber stands, rank up your gathering proficiency, and haul it all to the Forge. Purity matters: cleaner materials make better gear, and Tempering pushes a good craft into a great one.
🧠THE WALL IS THE GAME
Every boss attempt costs coin, and dying sends you home to think. Stuck? Farm a better weapon, temper your armor, or grind a richer stage — every wall has more than one answer.
🌙PROGRESS WHILE YOU'RE AWAY
Close the game on your favorite farm spot and the simulation keeps running — same fights, same loot, waiting for you when you come back. It's a game you play while doing other stuff.
🖥️A GAME MADE OF WINDOWS
No fullscreen takeover: Pocket RPG is a desktop of draggable pixel-art panels — map, bag, forge, quests. Arrange them your way and keep one eye on your hero while the other is on your actual work.
Beat The Guardian and you'll get a glimpse of where this is going: a shared online tower where the first player to clear a floor opens it for everyone. Ready to take the first step?

This game is AI slop.
The "Author" needs to hire someone who has even a tiny clue what they're doing.
As it stands, the UI and accessibility problems make this game unworthy of even a second of your time.
Thanks for trying the demo. I'm a solo dev and yes, I use AI tools in my workflow (art generation, coding assistance) the game design, systems and direction are mine, and the demo is in active playtesting right now.
One known issue I should mention: there's a rendering bug on Windows (a black line on screen) I develop on Linux, so it slipped past me, and I'm working on a fix. If that's part of what you hit, that one's on me.
Beyond that, I honestly can't tell from your comment what specifically didn't work for you. The build on itch is fully playable and represents the core idea of the game — so "UI and accessibility problems" is exactly the feedback I want, but I need specifics to act on it. Which screens or interactions gave you trouble? Font size, contrast, unclear objectives, controls?
In fact, if you're up for it: I'm running active playtests and I pay for detailed feedback. If you want in or just want to hear what the game is actually going for hit me up on Discord: @katekko. Standing offer.
By the way, I sent my game to weplaytestgames.com and I already got a video of the playtest. I received so many insights to work on, that's what I'm working on right now.
A new version is online, if you wanna give a try and tell me if anything improved for you, feel free
